Selling Your Fremont Home
The marketing starts before your home reaches the MLS, so buyers are already waiting rather than still to be found.
Your Buyer May Have Started Out Looking at the Water
Fremont is the one town I cover that is not on the lakeshore, and I would rather say that plainly than dress it up.
The trade is the point. The same budget that buys a modest cottage on the water will generally buy a house with real acreage here. People who begin searching for lakefront run the numbers, look at what they would be giving up inside the house, and end up on this side of the map.
That is a specific, identifiable buyer who is already actively searching, just not for Fremont yet. Almost no listing in this town markets to them, which means the audience sits there mostly uncontested.
Reaching that person is a decision you make before the listing goes live, not something that happens by itself once it does.
Where would you like to start?
Acreage Has to Be Shown, Not Stated
A number of acres in the listing details is not the same as a buyer understanding what they would be getting.
Where the lines actually run, what the ground is like at the back of the parcel, what the outbuildings can carry, how the road frontage sits, and what the approach looks like in a wet spring. A photograph taken from the driveway answers none of that, and a buyer driving two hours wants it answered before they set off.
Land is also where buyers get nervous, and a nervous buyer offers low. Showing the parcel properly is how you keep the acreage working as an asset rather than as an unknown.

Tamera was the best ever! Give that woman a raise!
Going with Tamara as our realtor was a fantastic decision! She is honest, calm, professional, and a fantastic listener. I would most definitely recommend her to anyone!
What I Do Before It Is Listed
My office is here in Fremont, so I am not making a trip out to look at your property. I walk it.
I check where the lines truly run against the record, what the ground will carry if a buyer has plans for it, the outbuildings and what they are genuinely good for, and access in every season along with who maintains the road. If there is frontage on Fremont Lake, I read it the same way I would read it anywhere else on the lakeshore.
Then the marketing starts before the MLS does. The Lakeshore Demand Method puts your home in front of a paid and targeted audience ahead of launch, and here that audience deliberately includes people currently searching the waterfront towns, because that is where a good share of your buyers are right now.
More than $4 million in closed sales over my last twelve months, up from under a million the year before. I work the lakeshore and inland both, which is exactly why I can point a coastal buyer at Fremont and have it land.
Weekly, in Writing
You get a written report every week, whether it was a good week or a slow one, with showings, feedback and what I want to change next.
You can cancel at any time if you are not satisfied with the work.
There is more about the town, Fremont Lake and the drive across M120 on the Fremont area page. The full approach is at selling your home, and the number is at what your Fremont home is worth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do lakeshore buyers actually look at Fremont?
Regularly, once they have compared what the same money buys. A budget that gets a modest cottage on the water will generally get a house with real acreage here. The people who make that trade almost always started their search on the water, which is why the marketing is worth aiming there rather than only at people already typing Fremont.
How do you market acreage differently?
By answering the questions a buyer would otherwise have to drive out to answer. Where the lines run, what the ground is like away from the house, what the outbuildings can genuinely be used for, and what the access looks like in a wet spring. Acreage listed as a number in a details table asks the buyer to imagine it. Acreage shown properly lets them price it.
What do I get each week?
A written report covering showings, buyer feedback, what the traffic is doing and what I think should change. It comes whether the week was good or not, and you can cancel at any time if the work is not what you wanted.

What selling your home looks like in Fremont
Inland in Newaygo County, where Gerber started in 1927 and where the same money buys land instead of frontage. My office is here.
Fremont is the one town I cover that is not on the lakeshore, and I would rather say so plainly. It has Fremont Lake by town with a public beach, a campground and a boat launch, and M120 runs across to Twin Lake and on toward Muskegon.
The trade is the point. The same budget that gets you a modest cottage on the water will generally get you a house with real acreage here, which is why people who start out searching for lakefront often end up looking at this side of the map.
